🌲 What is Timber — the Concept
Timber is conceived as a “woody tribute” to ancient trees: a blend inspired by the towering majesty of California’s giant sequoias and the sacred resin-rich trees of Oman.
The idea behind it: wood in its most elemental, natural form — strong, rooted, timeless — but reinterpreted with modern elegance.
Basically: think of standing in a forest of ancient trees. Strong, grounded, yet alive — that’s Timber in scent form.
✨ Scent Structure & Evolution
Top (Opening)
Cypress, cardamom, juniper, pink pepper, cocoa lead the opening.
This gives a fresh-woody, slightly spicy, crisp and almost “green” coniferous vibe. Cypress and juniper bring that evergreen forest freshness; cardamom and pepper add a spicy warmth; cocoa adds a subtle richness and a hint of dark sweetness.
Heart (Mid-phase)
The heart unfolds with lavandin (a lavender — woody-herbal), fir balsam, and Hojari frankincense (resinous incense).
This phase delivers a resinous, slightly balsamic-green depth — a sense of smoky incense among trees, with a calm, natural herbal undertone. It evokes forest bark, resin tears, conifer woods.
Base (Drydown & Trail)
Base notes: palo santo, sandalwood, cedarwood, patchouli, and bourbon vanilla.
The drydown is woody-resinous, slightly smoky, dry but warm. Palo santo and cedar give a somewhat sacred wood vibe; sandalwood and patchouli add creamy/earthy-woody depth; vanilla softens the woods with a gentle warmth and subtle sweetness — enough to round it out without becoming a gourmand.
